Christina has completed her studies in singing at the Ljubljana Academy of Music with professor Barbara Jernejčič Furst. Although the academy does not offer a baroque course, she has been able to focus almost exclusively on performing Renaissance and Baroque music. Her voice has been described as "immaculate" (Delo newspaper, review of L'Orfeo) and "clear, pure and agile" (Tomaž Gržeta, Glasna magazine) She frequently attends seminars on early music at Radovljica (most notably with Emma Kirkby) and Berlin (Charlotte Lehmann, Mark Tucker, Egon Mihajlovič) and Dartington International Summer School (Emma Kirkby, Andrew Watts, Laurence Cummings).
Her most notable performances include singing 1st witch in Dido and Aeneas (Purcell) with VAL Choir and Chamber orchestra under the direction of Stojan Kuret and recording a CD of the same, singing Euridice in L'Orfeo (Monteverdi), and Les Fetes Musicales de Versailles project, where she performed as a soloist in the Te Deum by Charpentier.
She is a member of Tres Aves - a chamber music group performing Renaissance and Baroque music and Onde Sonore (directed by Deborah Roberts)
Christina is currently enrolled at the Barock Vokal one year post graduate programme where she participates in artistic projects lead by renowned artists such as Andreas Scholl and Konrad Junghanel. Barock Vokal is part of the Musik Hochschule at JGU Mainz and is lead by professor Claudia Eder.
